On Saturday 23 October we attended the 7th edition of the Barcelona International Community Day event at the Museu Marítim de Barcelona, dedicated to the city's international community. The event exceeded expectations with a total of 3678 people registered for the first face-to-face event in two years. The BICD stands out as a talent fair with rich international profiles. Nearly 28% of the citizens living in Barcelona (more than 463,000 people) are born abroad. In response to this reality, Barcelona City Council has been working for years on programmes such as this one to welcome and support the large international community, an experience that offers the possibility of exchanging ideas, creating synergies between companies, getting to know the key players in Barcelona and finding new opportunities in the capital. The organisation's assessment of the event has been a complete success. They value this edition very positively as they confirm that it has been undoubtedly the most successful, with an attendance record of 87 countries and 180 different nationalities.
From the NuvoBarcelona team we want to express our appreciation to all the people who have been part of the event for their involvement in the project. We continue working to strengthen the relations of the international community with the city.
