NuvoBarcelona, sponsor of the 7th Hola Barcelona! Cocktail

On the 18th of September NuvoBarcelona had the pleasure of sponsoring the 7th edition of the “Hola Barcelona! Cocktail” event, organized by Barcelona Global together with Barcelona’s City Hall. The objective was to welcome international talent, expatriates who have chosen Barcelona to live or work.

The Paulauet Albéniz was the elegant location for the more than 1,500 guests of 80 nationalities. It’s a beautiful palace on Montjuïc, surrounded by the Joan Maragall Gardens, that hosts all kinds of premium events.

NuvoBarcelona was present throughout the occasion. Our team attended “Hola Barcelona! Cocktail” as representatives of our firm and as members of Barcelona Global.

The event

The seventh edition of “Hola Barcelona! Cocktail” started with a warm welcome to the guests with a drink, a photocall, and several speeches.

The speeches presented the testimonies of different public figures such as the Mayor of Barcelona, Ada Colau, and the president of Barcelona Global, Pau Guardans. Later, different international talents related their experiences in the catalan capital, some of those being the director of Sincrotrón Alba Caterina Biscari, and the musician and composer Hálldor Már.

Finally, the guests were directed to the cocktail and networking zone. Here, they could interact with different sponsors and club members to do business while enjoying the multicultural gastronomic array of food trucks, and the modernist human statues wandering amongst them. During this networking moment, many of the attendees approached the NuvoBarcelona stand to learn about our promotions in Barcelona.

NuvoBarcelona’s presence

NuvoBarcelona had an exclusive space in the Joan Maragall Gardens, where our team spoke with guests from all nationalities.

We also offered the public brochures of our different properties and corporate gifts like pens, key chains, and our reusable tote-bag.

Additionally, we hosted an exclusive drawing in which the participants could win two VIP tickets to a Barcelona Football Club game, and two VIP tickets to a FC Barcelona Basketball game, prizes which have already been awarded to the winners.

Over the course of the night we were visited by many interested attendees counting on this opportunity of networking with international professionals.

A perfect partnership

NuvoBarcelona decided to patronize the Barcelona Global event due to the strong ties our brand has to the community of entrepreneurs and expatriate business people in the city of Barcelona. Arad Edrey-Lavie, NuvoBarcelona’s CEO, is himself an expatriate entrepreneur: he grew up between Israel and France, lived around the world and settled in Barcelona in 2004, where he founded our real estate group boutique in 2014.

We are taking advantage of this occasion to celebrate 5 years of our business, with the whole team gathered to enjoy an unforgettable evening. Additionally, we were able to present the debut of our company video, which we have prepared with lots of love.

Finally, one of the main bonds of union in the partnership between NuvoBarcelona and Barcelona Global was our shared principal objectives: “contribute to making Barcelona one of the best cities in the world.”
